Actually burning 1,000 calories per day is a pretty aggressive strategy and difficult for most people.
An easier and more attainable strategy would be to reduce or burn off 500 calories a day.

With that said, the old calorie in calorie out method isn’t the end all be all.[bha size=’190×60′ variation=’01’ align=’alignright’]

80% of Weight Loss Is Based On Nutrition

When we eat junk our body doesn’t get the nutrients we need. Eating less or burning off 500 calories a day is a great start but getting quality food is even better.

I’ve found when I drink a protein shake to break my fast in the morning I make wiser food choices during the day.

I don’t know about you, but I’m happy to learn this. I don’t have time to spend hours in the gym like I did before kids.

I actually stay leaner now with HIIT workouts than when I spent an hour on the elliptical 4 times a week.

Workouts To Do At Home

We workout at home by doing a variety of HIIT workouts. I like the workouts to be fast and efficient.
Here are some of our favorites and ones we haven’t tried yet.

Of course, we really don’t know how many calories they burn but we do know you will burn some calories, build muscle and burn off some fat.
